This project drew significant inspiration from the owner's previous home. The goal was to downsize while retaining key functional and aesthetic elements, particularly a strong sense of peacefulness, security, and privacy.

For the exterior, we looked to traditional English Arts and Crafts homes for inspiration. We used simple, clean elements to create character and curb appeal, and found a similar stone as the primary material for the front, complemented by a medium gray stucco as a secondary materials. Wood in the gables and timber elements add warmth and texture.
The interior layout efficiently provides the owners with their essential functions. To ensure privacy, the main living area and primary bedrooms are positioned towards the rear of the home, with a large screened porch offering outdoor living space.
